Thanks Dr.AM I am finally getting my momentum back. With full pack analysis and with what guidance I have here, I am thoroughly enjoying the workplace. Doing survival analysis with data and incorporating t test, chi sqr, core, to logistic regression, I think I am regaining my interest back. The most important thing I have been enjoying is the literature reviews, reading articles and then applying clinical knowledge, Thanks Dr.MG for giving me this opportunity. Still long miles to go from here! And yes, Scientific writing, I am falling in love with.

The bad memories of final semester –fall 2012 still haunt me , and the effect is still very much palpable. Why CUNY does not have system of taking the same course in other campus, even if it is offered in the parent campus. There should be flexibility for students to chose the instructor,Every moment spent in the USA is blessing and important for me, in such case, wasting 5 months for nothing is the height of stupidity and amount for big loss ( I learnt hardly anything). In light of research and learning experience, I will have to catch up with time and will have to make up with those losses. Only proper planning and wise guidance can make me float on the thin layer of optimism.

“storytelling is the way of conveying the message.” It is the voice for those who are marginalized.

There is difference between life history and oral history, it is thin though.

Get Comprehensive knowledge of experience.

Oral history is very important to study economic change, because it focus on “piece of life” .

Conversation is the dollar of qualitative research.

Researchers listen to dream, fear and hopes.

The interview is specific form of conversation where knowledge is produced.

Intimacy and mutual self-disclosure.

Researchers see the world through participant’s lens.

Recently there was gangrspe of one medical student and she was brutally beaten. Eventually she died in fighting for life after 15 days. The incident received international coverage and people demanded death penalty for the culprits. Now there is a need to study people attitude towards the death penalty.

Last year I was in CUBA!

Music still makes sound in ears, steps still make me to dance and the taste of Mohito still makes my lip unfulfilled.

The young kid playing guitar to the lyrics of Guantanamera give me silent call and ask me when I am revisitingthis beautiful city of Havana. Me, SG and K eating in the mexican restaurant and one Cuban guy serving us yummy food…ahh…

Our wandering throughout the lanes , especially in the last leg of our stay, was the most exciting chapter of my cuba book.

We went to have lunch at one of the domestic houses, oh man, it was so tasty and delicious. We went to get ice-cream, and suddenly it started raining cats and dogs. there was lightening which was followed by terrible sounds. I was regretting my decision to come form the hotel, because ice cream was giving me hard time.

We went beach, name I do not remember, I need to check it from SG. I miss that cuban sand massaging my soles!

The unforgettable incident in the elevator now is in laughing stock. I had brief conversation with one of the most beautiful members of our group, and I expressed my desire that I wish she and me were only left in the elevator, I would have perceive things differently. (haha)Our group was fantastic consisting of members from serious to jolly nature. I wish Cubans have charged us their own currency, instead of asking American dollars. Believe me, the trip would have been far better experience.

RIP Aaron Swartz!

Just got the news of tragic end of Aaron Swartz– so sad losing young talent. I was great follower of him , as at the very young age he created RSS. I am wondering more than half of the Internet users do not know the function of RSS. The age when children learn video games, Aron became the genius in technology. Lately he went into depression and eventually h committed suicide. RIP Aaron

New York is making me polyglot. My day start with Chinese, Hindi , Urdu, Gujrati. Marsathi and English. Sometime when I step out the apartment, I greet in spanish. When I enter my workplace, I say hullo in Albanian. During the day I practice bit of spanish, Arruba (nigarian), few word of Swahili and then afternoon, one of friend from Indonesia talk to me in Indonesian language. Sometime I come across Turkish lady saying”mamnun olbun” and time pass with learning process. My brain loves me
